AN EXTRAORDINARY CAR SHOW: Harpoon Willy’s Restaurant located at 2655 River Rd. in Manasquan, NJ and The Vintage Automobile Museum of New Jersey presents “History On Wheels - A Walk Down Memory Lane” on Sunday May 2, 2010 from noon to 5:00 pm. This by invitation only car show is limited to 40 original condition antique cars and fine restorations built up to and including 1969 (no hot rods or customs please). There is no registration fee for the event, but donations to the museum are suggested. A luncheon buffet will be provided to the car owner and one passenger. To apply for the show, send your name, phone number, year, make & model of your vehicle with a photo to: Missy Ippolito, 500 Butler Ave., Pt. Pleasant, NJ 08742. It must be received by no later than March 15th. If you have a digital photo of your car, you can email your application to Missy at missy@athome-eldercare.com. The rain date is May 9th and all proceeds from the event are for the Vintage Automobile Museum of NJ Building Fund.

ATLANTIC CITY CAR SHOW AND AUCTION TICKETS: The club will again be ordering advanced sale tickets for the Atlantic City Car Show and Auction which runs for only 3 days in 2010 – Friday Feb. 26 through Sunday Feb. 28. Show hours are 8:30 am to 9 pm on Friday and Saturday and 9 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Advanced sale tickets are $15 each and good for any day of the event. This is a savings of $5 per ticket and you don’t have to stand in a long line. If you want to order tickets, get your money to Everett Ross no later than Jan. 10, 2010. That way he can get the tickets back in time to hand them to you at the February meeting. You can mail a check, made out to the “Vintage Automobile Club of Ocean County” and send it to: Everett Ross Jr., 512 Wheaton Ave., Bayville, NJ 08721.
