The club’s annual Christmas Party was held on December 14th and the 100+ attendees enjoyed
good food, beautiful decorations, a visit by Santa himself and lots and lots of door prizes.
The Museum’s 300 Club Raffle was drawn at the party and the winners were:
First place: J.P. Matthaey and consolation prizes were awarded to: Roger Naylor, Diane Yesunas,
Rudy Rivera, Robert Marootian and Jack Pontoriero. As always, the success of the party
primarily goes to the efforts of Mary Ann and Ralph Simon with the able assistance of
Valerie and John Mahoney; Shirley and Walt Piatkowski; Pat, Everett, Everett III and
Ryan Ross; Ann and Gary Stabile; and Karen Doebel’s brother who portrayed the “Jolly Fellow”
so well. As you may or may not know, Mary Ann and Ralph are planning to move to Massachusetts
and, although we will miss them dearly, wish them well on their relocation. They have been the
stalwart organizers of our Christmas party for many years and we thank them profusely for all
their tireless effort and numerous contributions to the club.
